Frequently Asked Questions
What Is Non-Dual Energy Work—in One Sentence?
A form of energy work in which I step back as a channel and allow life energy to work through my hands wherever your body is holding something—without a method, without a technique, and without you needing to do anything except let go.
Do I Have to Believe in Anything or Be Spiritual?
No. I myself considered energy work nonsense for years and was firmly rooted in science and logic. You need no belief and no previous experience—only a willingness to open yourself to the experience. People with no spiritual background at all often have some of the deepest experiences.
How Does a Session Work?
We begin with a short conversation, then you make yourself comfortable—lying down or sitting—in loose clothing. Touch is gentle, mindful, and always over your clothing. I place my hands on you and step back inwardly; they find the places where something is being held on their own. You do not have to do anything. A session lasts about 60–90 minutes—longer if needed when the process requires more time.
How Long Does a Session Last?
Usually 60–90 minutes—it cannot be set precisely. Because I step back inwardly and allow the work to happen through me, I do not decide the duration: a session lasts as long as the impulse to continue is present. If the process needs more time, there is no additional charge—the energy exchange is a fixed amount. And you can end the session at any time if you wish—one word is enough.
How Does Touch Work? Do I Remain Clothed?
Yes—your clothing stays on throughout the entire session. Touch consists of gently and mindfully placing my hands on different parts of the body—wherever something is being held. The intimate area and, for women, the breasts are of course always excluded. I discuss this personally before every session so that you can arrive feeling safe and relax fully. And at all times: You may decline any touch or pause the session—one word is enough.
Do I Need to Prepare for the Session—and What Helps Afterwards?
Not much is required. Beforehand: Wear comfortable, loose clothing, drink enough water, and eat only a light meal. Afterwards: Give yourself rest and avoid anything strenuous, drink plenty of water—and if emotions arise, let them flow rather than holding them back. The process often continues for several days. You can read all the details on the page “Your Session”.
Can I Bring Someone with Me?
Yes, if that helps you feel safe. One thing to consider: A session may invite you to open up emotionally and show yourself—so choose someone around whom you feel completely free, without feeling observed or judged. Otherwise their presence may hold you back rather than support you.
Do I Have to Talk About My Problems?
No. Unlike talking-based formats, you do not need to describe, explain, or analyse anything here—your body shows on its own what is ready to release. You may share whatever you wish, but it is not necessary. And anything you tell me naturally remains confidential.
What Will I Feel?
It can range from subtle to very intense—and depends largely on how fully you can surrender to the process. Common experiences include warmth, tingling, or flowing sensations in the body; emotions rising; involuntary movements; or the urge to cry or make sounds. Afterwards, most people report lightness and deep calm—some describe states of quiet bliss. Every session is different.
Why Does My Body Move or Shake? Why Do Such Strong Emotions Arise?
Because what has been held is releasing through the body. Trembling, twitching, yawning, sighing, crying, or even screaming are natural ways for the body to release bound energy—in the yogic tradition, these spontaneous movements are called kriyas. None of this is wrong or embarrassing. On the contrary, it is a sign that something is beginning to move.
What If I Do Not Feel Anything?
That can happen too and is completely fine. Some processes unfold quietly and only become noticeable in the days afterwards—for example through better sleep, greater calm, or emotions arising. Another common reason is a strongly developed body armour: chronic tension behind which the body has locked away emotions for years. The denser this armour, the less perceptible the energy flow may be at first—it must work its way through the tension before reaching the emotions underneath. Especially for highly controlled, mind-driven people, the first sessions may therefore require a little more patience; what eventually releases can be all the deeper. The intensity during the session is not a measure of its effect. And often, the harder you try to feel something, the more the mind gets in the way. Let go of that too.
Can It Become Too Intense? Am I in Control?
You always remain in control. Your system generally releases only as much as you can handle at that moment—and you can slow down or interrupt the process at any time; one word is enough. Surrender does not mean being helpless or at someone else’s mercy.
Can I Temporarily Feel Worse After a Session?
That can happen—and it is not a setback. Once one layer has released, what lay beneath it may rise to the surface. In the days after a session, further emotions may appear, you may feel more sensitive or tired, or dream more intensely. This is the process continuing to work. Rest, drink plenty of water, and let it flow rather than holding it back. If symptoms persist, please have them medically assessed.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
It is individual. This work is like peeling an onion: What has accumulated over years releases layer by layer—not all at once. Some people come with a single issue; others follow a longer path. After the first session, you will be best able to sense whether and how you would like to continue.
Can I Come Even If I Do Not Have a Specific Issue?
Yes. Many people come not because of a problem, but out of a longing—for greater depth, stillness, and connection, or because they want to go further on their spiritual path. This work is also for that.
I Am Receiving Medical or Psychotherapeutic Treatment—Can I Still Come? Should I Continue Taking My Medication?
Yes—and yes, you should absolutely continue taking it. Energy work does not replace medical or psychotherapeutic treatment, but it can complement it well. Change medication only in consultation with your doctor. If you are in an acute psychological crisis, please seek professional help first—and if in doubt, speak with your practitioner before a session.
Who Is This Work Not Suitable For?
This work has limits, and I take them seriously. If you are in an acute psychological crisis, please seek professional help first—energy work is not the appropriate setting for that. If you are currently receiving medical or psychotherapeutic treatment, continue it unchanged and, if in doubt, speak with your practitioner beforehand. And if you clearly feel within yourself that you do not want to engage with this process, that is also a good reason to wait—letting go cannot be forced.
Do You Also Work with Children and Teenagers?
I do not work with children. Teenagers are welcome—for minors, please arrange this in consultation with and with the consent of their parents.
Do You Also Offer Remote Sessions?
The energy work itself is available only in person—it takes place through the laying on of hands, and that is precisely where its depth lies. What is possible at a distance is the Inner Compass: I connect with your inner guidance and receive clear yes-or-no impulses in response to questions about your life. You can find more information on the page “The Inner Compass”.
Is This the Same as Reiki?
From the outside, it looks similar—hands are placed on the body and energy flows in both. But the orientation is different. Reiki is a method learned in levels and consciously directs energy; the hands usually remain still for longer periods in set positions, with the focus on harmonising and replenishing. Most people experience Reiki as gentle and deeply relaxing—warmth, tingling, sometimes quiet tears—while many feel little or nothing at all, and any release tends to happen quietly, if at all, often only in the days afterwards. My work begins elsewhere: I do not direct anything and do not merely replenish—the energy works directly where your body is holding something and sets it in motion. My hands do not remain in fixed positions: They move dynamically over the whole body—to wherever a blockage is showing itself. This is not guided by me but by a higher intelligence; I simply follow and observe. The reactions are therefore usually immediate and clear: Many describe an inner pressure that wants to come out—the body begins to yawn, tremble, cry, sometimes scream. And here, deep relaxation does not replace the release; it comes afterwards—as the stillness that remains when what was suppressed has actually been released.
Is This Shaktipat?
At its core, yes. In the yogic tradition, Shaktipat describes the direct transmission of energy that sets an inner process in motion within the recipient. There are various forms—through the gaze, touching the forehead, thought, or direct physical contact. My work belongs to the last form: The energy works directly at the places where your body is holding something. The path therefore does not bypass the blockages but moves through them—and the deep calm or bliss that may emerge afterwards arises from what has genuinely released. In my understanding, that is precisely what makes this form so profound and sustainable. I use the term only rarely because it is not widely known here.
What Does a Session Cost?
The energy exchange for a session (60–90 minutes) is €120. A reduced rate is available on request—money should not be an obstacle. Sessions take place in 1230 Vienna.
Why Do You Say “Energy Exchange” Instead of Price?
Because it reflects it better for me. This work is not a product I sell—it is about supporting people. For me to do that sustainably and with my full presence, there needs to be an exchange for the time and space involved. That is all: an exchange, not a business transaction. That is also why a reduced rate is available—money should not be an obstacle.
What Is the Policy for Cancellations or Rescheduling?
You can easily cancel or reschedule your appointment online using the link in your confirmation email—free of charge up to 48 hours beforehand. After that, the full fee is due; exceptions are of course made in cases of illness. Please cancel or reschedule in good time—otherwise your place cannot be offered to someone else who is waiting.
